Title: Google Voice Call quality
Post by: jlt005454 on October 10, 2017, 10:03:12 AM
Hello,
I recently started using Obitalk with google voice. When using google voice at home (which we do everyday many times a day) the call quality is great. Our phones cell service doesn't work in the neighborhood so we use google voice with our cell phones on the local network/wifi and it works great. No call quality issues even though not setup on QoS.

We wanted to use google voice with our house phone so we got a new Obihai OBi200. Setup was easy and it worked great for about half an hour. It's setup on its own isolated network with dedicated QoS 1mbps up and down minimum. I did that just for best practices but didn't think i needed it because google voice worked so well with our desktop computers and cell phones.

Now, everyday, many times a day we have the following problems:
-Caller cant hear me
-I cant hear the collar

When we can hear each other, the quality is great. I don't know if the problem is consistent on incoming and outgoing calls. I've only tested over and over by use on outgoing calls to other landlines. To business numbers. It happens in the evening too, but "my test" are during the day when nobody is on the network but me. No music streams, no torrenting, no rouge tablets and other cell phones and computers eating bandwidth, and a average connection speed of 70Mbps up and 10down.

How do you solve this problem?
