Title: "Backing Off" message
Post by: dpearceMN on August 22, 2011, 02:50:09 PM
I have both service providers configured on my OBI110. Both are set to use Google voice but with two different logins and phone numbers.

One shows connected. The other SP shows one of these two messages:
Connecting to 209.85.225.125
Backing Off (4s):TCP connection to 209.85.225.125 failed

This setup used to work. Any suggestions on what to check?

Thanks.

With Google Voice on SP1 and SP2, both can use ITSP Profile A where the only necessary setting is:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A -> General -> SignalingProtocol : Google Voice

Both SP1 and SP2 Voice Services should be set to:

Voice Services -> SPx Service -> X_ServProvProfile : A

Voice Services -> SPx Service -> X_SkipCallScreening : (checked)

The one that's not successfully connecting almost certainly has the wrong credentials:

Voice Services -> SPx Service -> AuthUserName

Voice Services -> SPx Service -> AuthPassword

Well, after two days of one of my SP's not connecting, it is now connected. I had actually given up for the night but it is now working. Didn't do anything.  ???
