Title: 2 GV numbers on 1 OBI200 - inbound ringing
Post by: lino on May 31, 2018, 08:07:10 AM
Sorry this is probably a basic question and I searched the forums.

My GF and I share a home office, we both use GV on separate accounts. We don't care about the dial OUT number. My # is SP1 and hers is SP2.

Cant I configure both #s to ring the OBI? mine does at SP1 but hers does not?
When I read the OBI200 supports 4 GV i assumed this functionality.

What am i missing?! :)
TIA

This "should" work by default.

Call someone using SP2 by dialing **2 followed by a 10 digit number. Does the person receiving the call see the correct CallerID?

Make sure the OBiTalk Device is enabled as a forwarding number. Sign into GV. You must be in the Legacy GV Interface. If you're not, click on the 3 lines on the upper left and then select Legacy GV. Click on the gear ICON on the upper right then select Settings. The box to the left of the OBiTalk Device must be checked.

If that doesn't work, try deleting SP2 then re-add GV.
