Title: How do I log into my obi200?
Post by: youngster on April 22, 2020, 04:28:13 PM
This thing has been working great for 2 years.

I wanted to see if I could add some phone numbers that I want blocked so I thought I would log into the device. No idea how I do that. I do know the IP of the obi200.

Any help?

If you don't know what you are doing, there is a high risk that you will misconfigure your OBi and it will not work properly.

Most users should NOT log in to an OBi using its local IP address.  Instead use Expert mode from your dashboard at obitalk.com.

okay wow.

So to put an occasional number on a 'block' list I have to sign up for the Expert service?

No. Expert mode is not an additional service. If you already have an account at obitalk.com (which seems the case as you are able to post here) and have your OBi registered there on your dashboard, then Expert mode is just an expanded which givrs access to almost all of the settings. No additional sign-up or payment.

I do all my blocking on my PC, just log into Google Voice.  Find the offending call and block it.
