I noticed that my OBi202 devices with GV being all down at around 11:42 am. I've tried to reboot but no success. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a solution?
same issuse all obi device connect google voice displayed Connect Failed: No Response (server=216.239.36.145
Just guessing some type of server problem. Hope SteveInWA can follow up.
Two different obi boxes 3 different GV numbers all down as of 2:52PM EDT 8/25/21.
No 3rd green LED on the box.
I'm beginning to see most of my GV accounts connect again on the 2 OBi devices.
Spoke too soon. The connection goes in and out but is current down on all accounts with the OBi devices.
Same issue. Error: Connect Failed: No Response (server=216.239.36.145
Both of mine are down as well, same error.
Same. 2182 phone. "Connect Failed: No Response (server=216.239.36.145)"

My OBI200 has been down for an hour or two, it's now back up as of 12:29 Seattle time.
I take that back, it's back offline now.
Yeah, sometime after 7am local time our obi202 had both lines go down, no 3rd light on, "connect failed" when checking Obitalk. Dang.
I note that there was supposedly a firmware upgrade scheduled for 8/5.... 20 days ago. Was that put off until today for some? Dunno what's up... but it's not working.
Neither my Obi200 or my obi202 can connect. for a couple of hours now. Google Voice works fine from cell phone.
I checked firmware of obi200 and it is current. So the FW update scheduled for 8/5 must have happened.
Down here too but it's sporadic. It came in for a while and I was able to make a call but then it went out again and hasn't come back.
Same issue here. Hopefully this gets solved soon otherwise I am forced to use the browser to answer my calls!!
Rebooted everything and still no 3rd LED.
Can't beat it for the $ though! ;D
It worked here for about a minute, back to no response!
Currently down in NY state Binghamton area.
Mine went out 15 minutes ago in the middle of a call. Have 2 Obi200's in different locations. Both show Google Voice connection failing. Checked the firmware on one device, and it matches that of the 8/5 update. Nothing to do but wait.

Same here, FW looks up to date. Have both a 200 and 1022, can not call out. Strangely, still get a call in once in awhile.
Seems to be back up now (4:10p EDT)
Same here, my OBi202 has been down for hours.
It was updated automatically to the 8680EX firmware
Same with me Obitalk shows "Connect Failed: No Response".
I sent a request for support using this OBi site: https://www.poly.com/us/en/support/contact/email-support#
I copied a link of this thread. The more people sending in request for support, the more likely Polycom techs will respond--since it is affecting many people. I don't think you have to have a service plan just to let them know that there is an outage that needs fixing.
Came here to say this -- seeing the same behavior across 4 GV lines on 2 Obi 202 devices. Support ticket has been filed with Poly.
This is the longest outage I've had with this service. It's too bad, it's been pretty solid otherwise....
I had to dial in to a phone conference and couldn't though my obi202 so I used Web-based Google Voice through Chrome. I got disconnected 4 times during the call so this tells me it is might be a Google Voice Server issue and not necessarily our connection from Obi to GV.
ALSO COUNT ME IN:
I have a 202, 1022, and 2182 all went down in a snap like synchronized swimmers. Sometimes in a rare moment one of the lines (i have 3 Sips) will go up for a couples minutes then go back down again. Who can this be reported to officially? Like is there developers of Polycom we can chat with?

Thanks, I did the same.
Seems to be intermittent. Shows "Connect Failed: No Response" again but my wife is talking on it right now. She made the connection before the light went orange again on my 1022. weird.
My OBi2182 has been down for hours. Showing an amber light next to the GV button. Full factory reset on the phone including deletion and recreation of the GV account did not resolve the issue.
Connect Failed: No Response (server=216.239.36.145)
Same issue here. All my Obi devices are not working with GV. It went down today. I tried updating the firmware manually, but said that I am current already when installing it. Help!
Service has returned here in Kansas !!!
EDIT: No. Back down.
Looks like some of the lines came back online on some devices. Strange thing is that I have the same GV number on multiple devices, and it's working on some, but not all.
No outgoing calls but incoming calls are ringing through OK
!!!!UPDATE!!!!
Google Voice just began reporting an outage: https://www.google.com/appsstatus/dashboard/ (https://www.google.com/appsstatus/dashboard/)

Thank you! Just reported to Polycom and set up my Visual Ping to watch the Google page for status updates.
Yup....still down but at least we know it is google.
Ditto.
Probably got hacked. Liberty only exists until it's taken away by force. It doesn't matter what sort of government you have a purported democracy, republic, monarchy, or fascist despotism. As soon as any of these come up with a pretense - the latest is terrorism - and they have the means to remove your Liberty, by spying on you or putting you in prison (the difference is only one of degree) then "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law".
Down here in Colorado: Both homes show Connection Failed: No Response on my portal. It would return connected only to lose connection shortly.
All 4 GV lines down for me, East Coast USA. OBI dashboard shows "Connect Failed: No Response".
Are we having fun yet?

Seems to be intermittent...... weird.
Typically, whenever Google makes changes to infrastructure they tend to do it rolling across their global infrastructure (often slowly at first, to see if there are any anomalies (and if so there are automated rollbacks)), which can lead to experiences where some see issues before others, and after others experience things working again (since any rollbacks also take some time to propagate). And be aware that Google (for many of their services) uses various technologies (such as geodns and anycast), such that two people may end up being be directed to entirely different datacenters / servers even if they are sitting next to each other.
S.E. Wisconsin - been out here all afternoon.
Edit 4:30 PM CST:
Looks like the issue is resolved.
My OBI200 has been out all morning, "connect failed" and I have been able to verify my firmware update was completed properly (logged in to OBI200 device directly and examined all parameters, etc) so my conclusion is that it's them, not us. Never have had an outage last this long before and I've been using OBI for many years.

Thanks for that update. I'll stop considering throwing my OBI202 across the room.
Anyone else getting this on the main ObiTalk.Com page?

All my obi devices are connected @ 15:31 MST for the moment.
I think we're back in business! ;) Hope it sticks!
Mine now working as well, OBI dashboard shows all 4 GV lines "connected". Obi202 device now showing green lights to my phone. 5:30pm ET.
Fortunately when the problem is widespread, you know it will get fixed rather quickly. The problems to worry about are when you have no service, but nobody else is complaining!
I've been an Obi user for... about a hundred years... very, Very few 'problems' I find, if/when I have a problem, come here... read... do NOT change settings that were fine befor... this Could of happened yesterday while I was in town, and might Never had known... Thanks Obi for the hardware, and thanks to the community to inform.
Both of mine are back up and updated to new FirmWare. Glad it is back.... Thanks all for the updates:)
Is aw the outage this morning (Hawaii Time) and just waited. You see, I have other providers and don't rely upon just one (especially a free one). Since all others were working I knew it was just GV and other users would be troubleshooting and worrying.
You see, I can ignore things like this, primarily because I live in the middle of nowhere with an active volcano in the backyard, earthquakes and tsunami threats with little avenue of escape. Thus a phone outage is the least of my concerns :-)

:D
Everything has also been working for me since 1:30 pm PST.
It should be restored now. It was an outage.
Yep again 6-22-2022 Connect Failed: No Response (server=216.239.36.145
Same here today 8/25/2022, removed and reconfigured the GV accounts and 1 call went through but no more after that. Reset the obi and power-cycled everything to no avail. ???
The Anveo 933 test works OK.
