Title: Wireless problems with Orbi 6
Post by: soobyapun on October 06, 2021, 09:23:05 PM
Hey everyone,I have two poly phones. One is 2162 and the other is 2182. I recently upgraded my wifi from Orbi50 to Orbi 753 since upgrading. Both Obihai devices have wifi issues, they have issues. They are either "authenticated" or will connect and then lose connection after a short period of time. They work without problems using Ethernet. But I use one of my phones in a place where Ethernet is not available. I have tried turning off the wifi6 function but it doesn't seem to solve the problem.

I had problems initially on my Orbi 50.  Turning off "IPv6" solved the problem.  You get to IPv6 in the router web UI, then "Advanced Setup", then "IPv6".

Same issue as described above. Unfortunately, my IPv6 was already turned off.

can you share your WiFi device settings.
try to find the Channel HT Mode.
it will be set on 160Mhz.
try to make it 40Mhz and then it should work without any issues.
feel free to share the information and i will try my best to help you with it.
