Title: Spoofing CLI
Post by: mrjoe on September 09, 2012, 04:20:24 PM
I wish to use the quoted method of Spoofing CLI for SPs that support it.
Please could someone explain to me an example of how to format the following:

QuoteA rule has the following format:
rule := callee-list : terminal where callee-list := callee|callee|callee| ...   (vertical bar separated list of 0 or more callee object) callee := number OR embedded-digit-map OR @   (@ = any number)
Outbound Call Route Configuration
terminal := PHx OR AAx OR LIx(arg) OR SPx(arg) OR PPx(arg) arg := cid > target
x := 1 OR 2 OR 3... cid = spoofed-caller-number
target = number-to-call OR $2 embedded-digit-map = (Mlabel) OR digit-map

From the manual: "The device will not insert PAID [Privacy asserted ID] in outbound INVITE requests."

I believe the Obi simply substitutes whatever number you specify in your config as the FROM number. This is why many VOIP providers will not allow the call to be processed. If your Obi is registered on the system as user 17771234567 and you try to send a call that says it is FROM 17772345678 they refuse to put the call through.
