Title: Speed dialing using Circle of trust endpoint
Post by: Fablog on February 05, 2014, 07:32:13 AM
Hi Guys,

I would like to setup a Speed dial using the sp2 of a remote Obi for a one stage dial. This remote Obi is in my circle of trust with the number 8. Could you tell me what I have to write in the speed dial please?

Thanks.

If I understand you correctly you want to setup a speed dial on the local OBi to make a call out SP2 on the remote OBi. Using a speed dial you can only set it up with a single outbound number.

Define a speed dial like: PP(ob200222222*14805551212)

Where 200222222 is the OBi number of the remote OBi.

In the remote OBi add the following to the beginning (left) of
Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute:

{2001111111>(1xxxxxxxxxx):sp2}

200111111 is the OBi number of the local OBi

When you dial the speed dial number, 14805551212 will be routed out SP2 on the remote OBi.

Most providers allow outbound calling without registration, so you can setup the same provider on a SP trunk or Voice Gateway on the local OBi eliminating using the remote OBi.
