Can I plug in another USB wireless adapter from a different company?

Will it work?

Most likely it won't work unless you get extremely lucky and pick a dongle that is the same manufacturer Obihai OEMs from.  The Obiwifi is only $25 and that most likely would be your cheapest option in lieu of going with something like this:  http://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-Universal-Ethernet-Adapter-GWU627/dp/B004UAKCS6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405660105&sr=8-1&keywords=ethernet+to+wifi (http://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-Universal-Ethernet-Adapter-GWU627/dp/B004UAKCS6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405660105&sr=8-1&keywords=ethernet+to+wifi)  Of course the universal adapter could be used with anything and would allow you to use the 302 as a network bridge (Obiwifi does not work bridging to the LAN port unfortunately).
