Hi,

We just inherited an Obi110 from our son.

During setup, the box didn't recognize our current Verizon service plugged into the Line interface.  However, we did setup Google Voice as SP1 pretty easily.

However, we now can't seem to setup our current Verizon (landline) service as SP2.   Outgoing calls using Verizon/SP2 (using **2 or when setup as the default outbound line) do not work.

Should we use the Generic Service Provider selection for the Verizon landline?   If so, what values should we provide for the proxy servers, etc?

Please let me know what we missed.

Thanks,
Lu & Jeri

Use **8 followed by a phone number to dial out over the Line port or dial # to get a dial tone from the service provider connnected to the line port.

You could also setup the PHONE Port PrimaryLine as the PSTN Line and dialed calls would normally go out via the PSTN Line and if you did that you would dial **1 for your GV calls.

Your Verizon landline is an analog line and any changes to the default OBi setup for that line would be done on the Line Port.

SP2 is used if you wish to setup a sip voip provider or it could also be used to setup a 2d Google Voice line.

We got it working.

Thanks so much for the help.
