I've read the directions of how to manually update obitalk without paying the $10.  I have Obitalk 110 and can no longer get or make phone calls.  I am able to follow the link to download the update and I'm able to phone and get the IPO.  My problem comes in when I enter the IPO (192.168.1.10) as a web address.  Every time I do this, the computer is unable to load the page.  I've tried it, my husband has tried it on his computer, we've tried entering just the number, we've tried entering it with http:// before the number, we've done what we can think of to turn off anything that might block the address, .... and still we can't access this page.  Any suggestions of how we can get the update so we can get our phone working again?

Access Expert Config on the OBitalk web portal.

Navigate to:
System Management-->Auto Provisioning-->Auto Firmware Update

Change Method to System Start

Change FirmwareURL to be http://fw.obihai.com/OBi110-1-3-0-2886.fw

Submit and save your changes. Your OBi device will reboot.

After restart, check that the firmware has been updated and then change above edits back to original settings.

Thank you for that advice.
How do I access the "expert config"?  I've been looking around obitalk.com and can't find anything.  Should I be going to a different site?  Should I be clicking on something on this site?

https://www.obitalk.com/obinet/pg/obhdev  You will be prompted to log in if not already.

Then click the icon of a cogwheel with red E on it toward the right hand end of the line of your device.  If you see only a cogwheel without the red E, click on 'Edit profile', scroll down and under 'Advanced options' tick the box for 'Enable OBi Expert Entry from Dashboard' and click 'Submit query'.

Thanks, drgeoff. I should not have assumed the OP knew how to access "Expert Config."

When making the above edits you will need to be sure both boxes to the right of the fields you are editing are unchecked.
