Hello everyone and for starters I know this is a very newbie question and I'm guessing the answer is as easy as ABC. However, for some reason, I can't setup the time and date. Any help please, I'm using obi1062.

OBi phones and ATAs can get the time and date automatically from an internet time server.

If it is showing the correct minutes but the hour is wrong you only need to select the correct timezone for your location. There is a pulldown selection for that, either in the device configuration part of your dashboard on the portal or the local web GUI. Use whichever one you have chosen to do all the other setup stuff.

Hi thanks for the reply. I already went and check day light saving and timezone under network settings. The date is showing Jan. 6, 2010 2:06. Should I try checking for updates or any other steps? Also, I tried to update the firmware but no update is available.

My guess is that the phone initialized 6 days ago and used the default date of Jan 1st.

On my 1062 phone, on the ObiTalk donfig screen, under WAN settings:

I am set for NTP SERVER1: POOL.NTP.ORG and my GMT is the correct timezone.
