All,

We have over 10 Obi devices (Obi1022 & Obi202) and configured w/ GoogleVoice.  They have been working fine until several days ago.  All incoming call number is being displayed as <number>!sip.google.com.

For example, the incoming phone number is 16191234567, and the Obi1022 will show up as 16191234567!sip.google.com

I have updated Obi1022 to the latest firmware, but not able to fix this.  Anyone can help us to address this issue?

Thank you!

Beast

My phone started doing this too.  I was going to start a thread, might as well jump into this one.  Here is a picture of what my caller id is showing.  Even if the number is stored on my phone it's not showing up with the name because of the !sip.google.com

I'm running on an Obi1062 FYI.

I'm actually kind of angry, because I Factory Reset the phone and reconfigured the phone on the ObiTalk Dashboard and it still didn't fix the problem.  Someone must know what's going on.  Here's a picture of what I'm seeing.

Keep in mind I blocked out the number for obvious reasons, but you get the idea.

Asterisk users are having the same problem, so it is nothing related to your OBi.

You can remove the text with the following rule:

Voice Services -> SPx Service -> X_InboundCallRoute:
{(1xxxxxxxxxx<'!sip.google.com':>):ph},{ph}

Use OBi Expert to make this change.

Robert you really are a hero member!

This works flawlessly.  Thank you!!!

Thanks Robert and Beast.

I have tried to Expert configuration (directly login to Obi via its IP) and change it.  Once it is rebooted, the change keeps revert back to the default value, ph.  Any idea how to address this?

I have tried the www.obitalk.com interface, and it does not even allow me to change the value of any Expert settings..  I am stuck..  :(

When you go into expert settings you need to uncheck both boxes and then paste the command that Robert posted.  The right box is checked automatically, but when you uncheck it, the left box automatically gets checked. Make sure to uncheck the left box then paste the code in there. Save the settings and exit. That should work.

1.  Logging in to the OBi's IP address does NOT get you to Expert mode.

2.  Re the reversion to defaults see http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=61.msg109#msg109

Thank you again!!!!

I don't know what Google did to cause this, but I've sent some screenshots over to them for investigation.  As usual, no promises on a fix.

 :) @azRobert, you're my hero! Worked like a charm! Thank you. How in the world did you know what to do?

Since 3/29/2017, I've been struggling with my Obi1062 looking through the settings, changing some settings, resetting to factory settings and even restoring to backup settings; nothing worked. Once again, thank you!

Getting the same issue.

I have never used expert mode.  Can someone post a link to instructions as to how to get into expert mode and put the code in?

I have never logged into my phone via IP, but looking forward to learning.

Thx in advance

Okay, so I found my way into the expert portal.  Just want to be sure where/how to past the code. Thx

Update:  I figured it out.  Just had to focus and look at directions more carefully.  Thank you!!!  Worked perfectly.  Have to stop multitasking one of these days.
