A hearty second here. I use Cacti to monitor and graph many statistics about the home network (as well as UPS data, which came in handy when I needed to prove to the local power monopoly that their lines were suffering brownouts) and being able to poll a lot of the information one can get from the device page through SNMP would be very nice.
