1. Unplug your easy to update perfectly working obi100 or obi110 device
2. Place in garbage can or fire pit and throw gas on it
3. If you placed it in a fire pit go ahead and fire it up
4. Buy a headset if you don't already have one and use google hangouts or use your cell phone to make and receive calls without having to worry about updates on your perfectly working easy to update device that the company refuses to update due to greed. >:(

There are many possible reasons why Obihai declared the OBi1x0 devices EOL and are not providing an update.  Examples include:

1.  The only person who understood the source code left the company, fell under a bus etc.

2.  The only copy of the source code was on a hard disk that failed.

etc.

There is an old saying about conspiracy and cock-up.  :)   For variations see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanlon%27s_razor

So you're telling me they wrote code for the new one and quit before writing the code for the old one?  ;D

I'm not telling you anything except to point out that you don't know greed was the reason.

Certs are easy to fix, takes five or ten minutes if that. The same fix for the obi200 should work with the obi100..This is a fact. I updated certs on cable modems and gateways at work.
