Hello:

How do you set an Obi 200 to full duplex?

Thanks,

In your browser go to google.com and enter the following search string

site:obitalk.com full-duplex

Then look at the posts that are listed.

ProfTech

When you do the site search as above it doesn't come up with anything. I've wondered if the 200 had an equivalent setting to the 110 but never have heard or seen anything on the forum about the 2xx series. The lights on my router show 100 mb speed but I'm not sure if it makes any indication to full or half duplex. I guess I just assumed it was modern enough it is probably 100/full.

See the attached screenshot which is at complete odds with Proftech's assertion of "doesn't come up with anything".

The first result is https://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=3788.msg25147#msg25147 which has the required info.

Why would one need to mess with the duplex setting at all?  Mine default to full duplex without have to change anything.  I did try playing with option 27, but it reverted to full duplex regardless of the settings (0, 1, or 2).

obi202 - port 2 (physical port 3)

obi200 - port 2 (physical port 3), port 3 is a pc in sleep mode

If this is not a documented feature, how was it determined that
speed and duplex changed?
The indicator lights on my 3Com switch show
OBi 200 runs at 100/Full     (3.2.1-5757EX)   as GPz1100 stated
and
OBi 110 runs at 100/Half    (1.3.0-2886)
no matter which setting 27 option I choose.

If there are only two options, why three choices?
Is Default determined by an internal OBi variable?

There is no reason to attempt to change the setting on any current OBi product.  They are all running full-duplex by default.
