We have OBI1062's and a OBI server. For periods of a week or two, separated by months. (I don't know if we try enough stuff to figure out the problem or if its been resolved outside of us because it comes and goes.)

We will get a phone call and no matter what phone we answer it connects and there is nothing there. The experience on the incoming call is being sent to voicemail.

I don't know what you mean when you claim to have an OBi server.

For the last week there has been a problem affecting some GV users with symptoms like you describe.  However Google say that was identified and fixed in the last day or two.

Thanks, that listed issue is helpful. Where do you find that information?

The 508 device. It is a computer that provides services to phones and fax machines a.k.a a server. We're definitely having the problem today.

I'm desperately needing to get back to my PBX project but until I get the time figuring this issue out would be ideal.

I'd surmise that you are using GV for business lines and I'll leave it to others to comment on that.

I wouldn't call the OBi508 a server.  It is an ATA. A big brother of the OBi1x0 and OBi2xx Analogue Telephone Adaptors.

There are many threads about the GV issue. Surprised you did not notice any of them.   https://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=13680.0 for one.  it contains the 'fixed now' post - https://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=13680.msg87969#msg87969.  As does the (currently) final post by Bluescat at https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/voice/ouSBboXA1zY/vRKFyQotBQAJ

That's not surprising. I assume the best fix has been to reinitialize the google voice accounts?

We called ring central and they want hundreds of dollars a month and I believe a contract. Nevtivia reprogrammed our phone server and rendered it useless until I reinstalled the factory firmware. So my only option in my opinion is my own PBX that I can control and maintain.

In the meantime do you have any other advise for me?

Google voice outside of these circumstances has been awesome and I would love to pay for the service if they ever decided to pay it more attention. Occasionally we have to return a call to a customer, that is a minor inconvenience.
