Still can't post anything using the desktop, I still get "The message body was left empty" I from either browser. I have to Any update on any fix yet?

FormerYooper

None that I am aware of.  Have been using Edge on Desktop & Opera on tablet to post.

If you are accessing the website via https, try dropping back to http to post.

Thanks to Mango (if I recall correctly) for posting this tip.

Thanks for the tip.  That seems to work.  However it's a PITA to remember to disable the FF add-on HTTPS Everywhere every time you want to post to the forum. This is something recent.  Never had to disable https before.

Rukbat

In this day and age?  There's "gotta be an app for that". :)

And thank you from me too, restamp.

(Someone at the site should take care of that, it's trivial.  If I had admin access, it would be done in a short time.)

FF (and Chrome) with their push to enforcing https has forced a number of sites to enhance their security/privacy, but sites (such as this forum) that have not stepped up to https will continue to experience problems.  In an ideal world Obihai/Polycom would get a cert and install it and force everything to https.  But I would not be surprised that if rather than investing in that work, they will move people to the existing Polycom forums (which do use https).

Or, since they're on Apache, they could just add a rewrite rule until they move us all to another forum.
