Add an option (and perhaps even document it
) to specify the Caller ID name to be used when sending an outgoing call using a Voice Gateway over SIP.
This is particularly helpful when running a home-based business or when multiple people share a phone: the callee can then see an appropriate name rather than the name associated with SP1 or SP2.
This could be added as an extra parameter to the Access number. e.g.
SP1(voiptalk.org;op=sm;id=Fred Flintstone)
