I currently have OBI200, 202, 1022, and 2062 setup on Obitalk. I would like to see the OBI2062 have an extension also. The website doesn't support the 2000 series having an extension number. This is the only problem I am having with the OBI2062. Anyone else know when or if this will be available option?

Define a speed dial like this: pp(123456789)
Replace 123456789 with the OBi number of the 2062
Use the speed dial# as the extension#

If you get routed to the Auto Attendant, you will have to make changes  to the following with OBi Expert:
Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute

Extensions like the 200, 202, 1022. Obitalk can link the phones to have an extension # like 20# to dial one device, 21# to dial another. IE if the 200 is 20 and the 202 is 21 and the 1022 is 22, I can dial or forward a call between the phones by using the two digit phone extension and #. Obitalk doesn't have the 2000 series listed to be able to assign an extension number to them. I can make extension 23 (in my case) but the Obi2062 Obi Number does not show up to add it to my linked devices. It would be very helpful if it did.

I believe this was an oversight when the 2000 series was introduced, as I saw the problem during beta testing the 2182.  I asked one of my Polycom contacts just now if it could be added to the "link settings" page.

Apparently you didn't understand my previous post. When you link a device OBiTalk will automatically define a speed dial. These don't display when you click on Speed Dials from the portal, but when you log directly into the OBi using the local interface you can see them under User Settings/Speed Dials. When you manually define a speed dial the end result is the same as linking a device.

From the portal click on Speed Dials
The 1st open speed dial will be listed
Click the down arrow and select 23
Enter a name (optional)
Enter pp(123456789) as the Number
Replace 123456789 with the OBi number of the 2062
Click Save Changes

The OBi number for the 1062 will be listed on the portal

I traded email today with one of the software engineers.  They acknowledge that is was an oversight, and they're going to add the 2000 series into the extension configuration page.

Well I just tried to call the OBi1022 (Ext 22 per settings) from the Obi2062 (Ext 23 per settings) and the 2062 got a busy while the 1022 showed a missed call. Then I call the 2062 from the 1022 and got NOTHING...after a delay I got a beeping sound but no ringing o the 2062. Then I call using **9 and the Obi # and I get the same thing per device. The plot thickens.....
