check voicemail for GV #2 with speed dial

I would like to check my voicemail on my 2nd GV line using speed dial. My assumption is I have to dial on line 2 [GV #2 line] and dial the GV #2 number as I do for GV #1. I can use speed dial for GV #1. When I do this with speed dial for GV #2 I get a busy signal. I can do this without speed dial successufully. I even tried setting up speed dial with **2 + GV # and that did not work either.
How can I do it with speed dial?
