Cannot transfer incoming calls to other 2182 phones? Disconnects

I call my GV number with my cell phone, answer with my 2182.

Press Transfer button, hit quick key to establish speakerphone intercom to talk to the other 2182.

Hit Transfer Now option, outside line is dropped (!)

I've tried it using 31# (extension of other Obi), but no joy.

Help?

This is a feature of the OBiHai IP-Phones.

A post in the below thread says calling a 10 digit phone number works. I read in another thread that this doesn't. I can't test transfers because I only have 1 IP-Phone. Transfers to an OBi200 work.

I never heard of a phone that cannot make transfers, just because they don't want to?

They have an actual TRANSFER BUTTON on them....wow

I have a couple of 2182's and a 202 here. We can work on some things and try suggestions.

Approximately 1 sec after the transfer, the call is terminated from the Originating 2182:

Call Transferred   Transfer to PP1(21821111)  /anonymized ob number
(Bridged, Ref=56595)

Call Ended (488 Not Acceptable Here)

AFAIK transfers only fail between IP-Phones. I can transfer calls from my 1032 to a 200. Try transferring a call to the 202.

Transfer to 202 works from 2182

FYI. I disabled all codecs except g.711u and the 488 error code disappeared.

Makes the transfer from 2182 to 2182 properly now, with the one locked codec.

So we gotta work on codec negotiation between 2182 phones ?

I'll be back later this eve and play with it some more.

   Remove check for each codec except G711U Codec
