getting ready to port phone # from Verizon postpaid to GV - potential problem?

I have an obi 200.

Instead of porting my landline to a prepaid cellphone, I just added a 3rd line to my postpaid  Verizon account and ported it there.

Now I'm getting ready to port from VZW to GV.  Google Voice is saying that porting will cancel my carrier account.

Am I correct to assume that since that number isn't the primary line on my account, VZW will just cancel that line after the porting to google voice is complete?  Or will it indeed cancel my entire VZW account?

Can someone who has done this give me a few clues?  Thank you!

Been awhile since I ported out a postpaid line. For prepaid, the phone number is usually also the account number. VZW postpaid accounts have an actual separate account number. You'll need that. Double check your PIN is correct.
You'll need the following info:

QuoteThe Verizon number you'd like to port.
The account holder's name.
Your Verizon account number.
Usually a 10 or 14-digit number formatted as 000000000-00000.
Don't include the dash when you enter it.
The last 4 digits of the account holder's Social Security number.
In some cases, you may also be asked for your account PIN. This is usually a 4-digit number.
If you have trouble finding this information, check a recent billing statement

PS. Cool moniker.  :D
