I found an old post http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=827.0 on this subject, but the way it was written I could not figure out where to put the parameters because of lack of specificity in the post of exactly where Username, Pw and Uid go... these do not correspond to any labels in the OBI setup.

Username: use ringcentral authid
Pw: password (same as authid
Uid: y

The information provided by RingCentral looks like (with a few numbers changed of obvious reasons):

Generic VoIP Phone/Adaptor Configuration
To configure your device to connect to the RingCentral service, you will need to program it with the following information.

The steps for programming will vary from device to device, so please check with your device's manufacturer for specific instructions.

Field                      Value
SIP Domain:         sip.ringcentral.com:5060
Outbound Proxy:      sip10.ringcentral.com:5090
User Name:              16479317000
Password:              2900000004
Authorization ID:      2900000004

Can someone help me map these fields into the OBI.  I successfully configured another provider on SP2 that didn't have an Authorization ID, but this Authorization ID has really got me stumped.

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> General -> Name : RingCentral
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServer : sip.ringcentral.com
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> OutboundProxy : sip10.ringcentral.com
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> OutboundProxyPort : 5090

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : 16479317000
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : 2900000004
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName : (callerid name)

Thanks for the reply ... unfortunately there is something else required....

The parameters given are

Field                      Value
SIP Domain:         sip.ringcentral.com:5060
Outbound Proxy:      sip10.ringcentral.com:5090
User Name:              16479317000
Password:              2900000004
Authorization ID:      2900000004

and the Phones they try to sell their subscribers are mostly Cisco/Polycom

I suspect that it has something to do with the "Authorization ID" and the OBi needs to look like one of them.
Does anyone know how to configure the OBI when an "Authorization ID"
is required?

Give this a try this instead:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> General -> Name : RingCentral
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServer : sip.ringcentral.com
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> OutboundProxy : sip10.ringcentral.com
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> OutboundProxyPort : 5090

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : 2900000004
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : 2900000004
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName : (callerid name)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> URI : 16479317000

If it still fails, try swapping AuthUserName and URI values.

I've just completed the setup of an OBI202, which was unable to auto provision using RingCentral.  I used the following:

Ring Central              OBI

Username           -->      URI
Password            -->      AuthPassword
Authorization ID  -->      AuthUserName

These settings are located under Voice Services - SIP1 Services (assuming you're configuring SIP 1).

You will also need to configure the Proxy Server and Outbound Proxy Server using the settings provided by Ring Central, but those are very clear in their naming.  They're under Service Providers - ITSP Profile A - SIP.

Lastly, if you tried auto provisioning using Ring Central prior to manual settings you'll need to make sure you disable it, or at least reset the Configure URL to default, or it will continually overwrite your settings.  I recommend disabling.
