Can't change Obi100 admin password

I made the mistake of removing my Obi100 (1.3.0.2886) from the ObiTalk portal and you know what that's gotten me! I am resorting to manually configuring my device.

After a factory reset, I want to change the admin password, but it is not letting me login afterwards with the new login. Yes, I am sure it is the right password. Are there any rules to the password requirements? Originally I tried a 12 character, alphanumeric + symbols. Nope. Then 12 character, just alphanumeric. Nope. Then I tried 7 characters just alphanumeric. Nope. What is going on?? I can't load my SIP credentials in a device with the login admin/admin.

Help please.

I tried a new browser to login. No luck. Reset the device _again_ and this time tried changing the password from the "setup wizard" instead of the "device admin" in system management. It worked!! Was it the browser (Chrome instead of Brave) or was it using the "wizard"? Who knows.
