Assume that there is a POT line connected to Obi110, but no caller ID feature. I want the caller to call and press a key like * to trigger the auto attendant. If there is no input for 2 second, Obi will ring the phone connected to it. Is it possible to setup the following to achieve the goal?

1. Route all incoming calls to a customized AA2 (slient or sound of ring tone) in the inboundcallroute.
2. After AA2 picked up the call, wait for 2 second. If caller press a key like *, route the call to AA3. Otherwise, ring the phone connected to Obi.
(AA3 will be something similar to the default AA that will allow caller to make new call.)

Not currently possible. We can not trigger the AA on any key entered. Either certain incoming calls (CID), or all incoming calls are permitted to reach the AA.

Yes if you set it up in a way that the OBi handles the call. There is no flexibility. If you record a new IVR for the OBi with an appropriate message, it will cycle three times on the message then automatically ring the attached phone. Keep the message short so that the phone will ring as close to the two seconds as possible, and/or in the message inform the caller that the call will be "handled/transferred/forwarded" if no input.

If you want caller to reach AA2 they need to make the selection themselves on the call. There is no way to automatically send callers to AA2. Be creative in the type of message that you can offer the caller. The IVR message does not need to mention anything about pressing 1 or 3. Those can be kept secret from the caller.

Here is a description on how to setup the OBi so that callers can reach virtual extensions. There are some ideas in there which might be relevant to your needs.
