IP address on firmware setup procedure

I have a OBi 200 and have reviewed the steps for updating the firmware, but am stuck at step 2 because I cannot get the IP address when using ***1 and connected to my WAN port

Network Status - Your IP address in not available your DHCP is enabled

What could I be doing wrong?

Hello, I think the issue could also be related to a faulty Ethernet cable. Try using a different cable to connect your OBi 200 to the router's WAN port and see if that resolves the problem.

^^ Probably a spammer-to-be but certainly incorrect about connecting the OBi to the router's WAN port.
