OBI200 phone is not connecting

hi all,

My first post here,  so please bear with me. I have a "home line" set up via GV using OBI200 that was operational until recently.  Stopped working a few days ago and since OBi200 shows green power lights except phone line, I replaced the phone.  However, when connecting a new phone, it did not fix anything and when going on Obitalk,  the status shows in green with "Connect Failed: 403 , Forbidden; Token Error" message.  I was trying to search the forum for this error but nothing relevant came up.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Thank you,
Simon

That LED being off (when phone is on-hook) means no Voice Service working. Nothing wrong with the phone itself.

Update. That "Replace credentials" appears to have been removed.

No. Doing that risks losing GV forever. Wait for my next reply.

Further investigation reveals that the "Replace credentials" is still available but getting to it is slightly different.

On your dashboard look at the right hand end of the OBi200 line. It will have either 'Expand' or 'Hide'. If the former, click it.

You should now see a box with SP1 to SP4 in a column at the left. Click on whichever SP (probably SP1) you used for GV. That should open a page with the "Replace credentials" as the last item in the box.

hi @drgeoff,

Happy to report that it started working again after a few days. Not sure whether it was "Replace credentials" fix with a delay or just on its own. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But it shows to avoid "knee jerk" fixes for other users out there.

Thank you!
Simon
