If you have a broken OBi100 and also own an OBi200, you can define the broken GV account on the OBi200 and then route calls to/from the OBi100.

After defining GV on the OBi200, use OBI Expert to change the routing rules.

Anything dialed on the OBi100 that matches the Primary Line's digit map will be routed to SP4 on OBi200. OBI200 SP4 inbound calls will be routed to the OBi100's phone port.

Forwarding inbound GV calls to Callcentric will continue to work, so if you are doing this there is no need to route inbound SP4 calls to the OBi100.

OBi200

Define the OBi100 GV account on SP4

Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: pp(200222222)

Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute:
{200222222:sp4},{ph}

Replace 200222222 with the OBi number of the OBi100

OBi100

Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> OutboundCallRoute:
The 1st rule is: {([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp}
Change it to: {(<510111111*>(Mpli)):pp}

Replace 510111111 with OBi number of the OBi200

Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute: ph

Just to make the usefulness of this more clear.

The OBi1x0 does NOT need to be on the same network or in the same premises or even in the same country as the OBi2xx or OBi10x2.

I want to do exactly this ==> assuming GV will no longer be accessible from OBI1xx after their security upgrade rollout is complete.  PLEASE let me know if this is false, and the 110 will still work with GV.

I had been using an OBI110, but saw many "backing offs", learned GV was going to stop working entirely with it, and bought an OBI202.  I want to use the PSTN In feature of the 110, and this forwarding sounds perfect.  But I am a newbie and need help.  

SP Question:  How do I administer an SP for the OBI110, without getting new service from an ITSP?  Can I use the OBI202 as its SP, and if yes, How???    Help, please!

The opening post by azrobert tells you what you need to do.  You do not require new service from an ITSP.

You are not saying exactly what you want. I assume you want to route calls to PSTN from either OBi202 phone port. I also assume you want GV as your Primary route. You need to use a prefix to route calls to PSTN. I hate using the ** prefix and I use a single 9 prefix. You can route calls without a prefix if you can identify the PSTN numbers (7 digits to PSTN, 10 digits to GV and 11 to PSTN). You can also use area codes to identify PSTN numbers.

OBi110

Physical Interfaces -> Line Port -> InboundCallRoute: ph,pp(510111111)

Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute:
{510111111:li}

Replace 510111111 with OBi number of the OBi200

OBi200

Physical Interfaces ->  Phone1/2 Port -> DigitMap
Add 9xxxxxxx|9xxxxxxxxxx|  after the beginning parenthesis.

Physical Interfaces -> Phone1/2 Port -> OutboundCallRoute:
The 1st rule is: {([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp}
Change it to: {(<200222222*>(<9:>xxxxxxx|<9:1>xxxxxxxxxx)):pp}

Replace 200222222 with OBi number of the OBi110

Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute: ph

9xxxxxxx will be routed to PSTN as xxxxxxx
9xxxxxxxxxx will be routed to PSTN as 1xxxxxxxxxx

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but unless I configure an SP, OBItalk doesn't want to route calls using **9+OBI#(9digits).  The 110 seems unreachable w/o an SP defined. 

==>If there is a way to use OBItalk without assigning any SPs on the 110, can someone please tell me how to do that?

Target Configuration:
My goal config is to preserve the functionality on my 2 line phones where each line dials OUT on different GV instances, but both lines ring on incoming calls to either GV instance.  I want to dedicate ph2 of the 202 to FAX, so my 2nd voice line needs to come from the 110.  Finally, I have another PSTN to attach to the 110, for rare incoming calls, and it can ring on only one appearance.

   OBI202:  SP1 is GV1 --> rings ph1 + Obi110/ph
                  SP2 is GV2 --> rings ph1  + Obit110/ph
                  Fax (TBI) -->   Fax rings ph2 dedicated fax line (can GV route fax calls?
                            Can I detect Incoming Fax on a GV line and direct it to ph2 (iff GV can route fax)?
                            Or do I need a different ITSP for fax?

            ph1 uses SP1/GV1 for outgoing calls
            ph2 (ded fax) uses a GV SP if possible for outgoing calls, else alternate ITSP

  OBI110:   Rings on incoming calls to either GV1 or GV2 (non-fax) --> Obi110/ph is my 2nd line on my 2 line phones
                  Outgoing calls (from line 2 of phones) via GV2
                  PSTN In --> OBI110/ph (Line2 of phones) (Outgoing calls to PSTN are rare, ringing only 1 line OK)

I hope the above makes sense.

What exactly do you mean by "route" in that sentence?

With default settings any OBi can call any other OBi by dialling **9 followed by the 9 digit Obi number, provided both OBis have an internet connection that can reach Obihai's server(s).  No SP configuration is necessary.

When I attempt to dial **9 {9-digit OBI #}  from a phone on the 202, it replies with a "Not found - 404" voice message for either of the OBI numbers on the 110.

Sounds like I should HW reset the 110?

I did a reset and NOW OBItalk is working as expected on the 110.
 I made a string of false inferences from the failure of OBItalk w/o an SP.  I am sorry.  Cross-eyed.

Now to tackle the DigitMaps, and InBound/OutBound Call Routing rules.

The OBi202 can't detect a fax call. You will have to define another GV account on SP3. PSTN inbound will default to OBi110 phone port.

You have my sincere thanks for doing this!   I had a concussion and am not all here yet - this stuff has been a real challenge (and I've done it before - long ago).   You just saved my bacon, because it is something that is beyond my current abilities.  I am so grateful.

But I do have a question or two.
Re the layout below, is there a typo?  I have no SPs on the: OBi110:

Re needing a 3rd GV acct for Fax, so GV will 'handle' Fax?  I saw some setting for handling incoming Fax (reInvite), but I gather it doesn't do what we need - maybe just select a better codec??

There are 2 formats when sending a call over the OBiTalk network.
When sending a call to OBiTalk without data, the following is sent: PP Dest_OBi_Number
The PP is optional, so calling OBi number 510123456 the following is sent:
510123456 or PP510123456

PP is also optional when calling with data, but I won't include it with the following example. When sending a call with phone number 8005551212 the following will be sent:
510123456*8005551212

I intentionally used (Msp1). When a SPx is not setup, you can still refer to its DigitMap. I assumed (maybe incorrectly) that the OBi110 SP1 digit map matched the OBi202 SP2 digit map. If you made changes to the OBi202 SP2 digit map, you need to make the same changes to the OBi110 SP1 digit map.

The <> will insert or remove digits to/from the dialed number.
The syntax is: <remove : insert>
The colon is optional when only adding digits.

{(<510123456*>(Msp1)):pp}

If you dial 8005551212, it will match (Msp1)
<510123456*> will add these characters, so:
510123456*8005551212 will be sent to OBiTalk.

There is something I forgot to include:
OBi110
Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> PrimaryLine: SP1

The dialed number needs to be validated by the Phone Port digit map.
The last rule in the digit map is (Mpli)
This will include all the rules in the Primary Line's digit map.

I agree that using SP1 is confusing. If you want to use (Mpp), set the OBi110 OBiTalk DigitMap equal to the OBi202 SP2 digit map and set the Primary Line to OBiTalk.

Edit:
I have no problem sending or receiving faxes with GV, but some people have problems. It depends on the quality of your internet connection. Are you having fax problems?

You can use GV on SP1 or SP2 to send a fax, so the only problem is receiving.

Edit2:
I forgot that (Msp1) will add a "1" to a 10 digit number, so 510123456*18005551212 will be sent to OBiTalk.
