I just started using this service the only problem I am having is on the receiving phone caller ID they see Simple Telecom and think it is a phone company trying to change their service, so they hang up. Can I change that to just show my GV number.

The Obi is not a service, it is a telephone adapter. What serviced do you have configured on the Obi that you use for outgoing calls?

If you place outgoing calls with your google voice account your google voice number will display on their caller id.

I have Comcast internet. Caller ID shows:

Simple Telecom
xxx-xxx-xxxx            (real numbers show X's are for example)

Can I get the Simple Telecom on the top line to go away? Thank you

The Obi has nothing to do with the caller id name. The name delivery is a service provided by the provider that is delivering the call on your recipient.

Are you using a phone service provided by comcast or do you have a different service set up on Sp1 or Sp2 of the Obi.
