OBi 100 device is given a OBi 110 number, how to correct it

Hi,
I bought a OBi 100 today and try to add device.
It automatically gave me a Obi 110 number 290******, while my Obi number on the bottom of the device is 300******.
It does not let me add the device with **5 then.

Who knows how to correct it please, thanks,

The 290xxxxxx is a softphone number, not an Obi #. Each obitalk account comes with one. You would use it for the Obion PC or Obion smartphone app.

Obi110 is 200xxxxxx
Obi202 is 500xxxxxx
Obi100 is 300xxxxxx

If it won't let you add the device with **5 xxxx, how did you add it?

Once it is in an account you can't do the **5 again. You would have to delete it from the account, reset it to factory defaults, then start over. Once a device has been added to an account, even though deleted from that account, it has to be reset to factory default before the system will allow it to be added again. If it doesn't assign the correct number the second time, you will have to send an email to support@obihai.com.
