obi conflicts with googletalk browser plugin ?

Had really choppy outgoing audio (obi 100)-- closed my chrome browser with googletalk plugin-- audio got better.
Using firefox with no googletalk plugin: no problem.
Can anyone confirm ?

If you are using the same gmail account (at the same time), as the service set up on the Obi, there could possibly be some consequences. Most report not being able to use them at the same time. They both sign in to google as the same device.
