Callcentric has gone dark, I need a replacement so I signed up Anveo.

Short term wise I need to have E911 and inbound sip uri.

E911 seems not hard to setup, but I could not figure out Anveo's inbound sip uri.

Is there any Anveo experts who can help?

Thank you.

You are correct, Anveo's web pages are difficult to master.

There could be another solution however I believe you have to setup an incoming Anveo Sip Trunk and use "Call Flow".

Login to your account and on the Top toolbar click on IVR/CallFlow then Inbound Sip Trunk for CallFlow.  Then click on Add a New Inbound Sip.  They issue you a fairly complicated sip uri that does the job.

Then you have to setup a "Call Flow" for the sip trunk to tell it how to route the inbound call.  With the Sip Uri you can edit it to go to the call flow you select or I believe they setup a default call flow for you if you wish to ring your registered OBi.

They have a fee structure setup for using "Call Flow" that is hard to document.  When you go over the "limit" I believe they charge 0.005 for each time call flow is accessed.

I use an Anveo sip trunk to simultaneously ring my cell phone when I have an incoming PSTN Line call to my OBi110.  Anveo has a nice feature called VM Guard keeps from answering a cell phone call that goes to voicemail because the cell phone is turned off or out of range.

....There are two ways to do this. One way does go through Anveo call flow the other does not. You should be aware that if you go through Anveo call flow you use "platform minutes" and after you have used your daily allocation you pay 1.5 cents per minute. As far as I can tell calls are rounded up to the next minute.

Anyway, in the first case you need to create a SIP address to forward to. You can do this from the dashboard using IVR/Call Flow | Inbound SIP Trunk for IVR Call Flow then Add a new inbound SIP. You will need to assign the SIP trunk to a call flow.

In the second case you can forward to 1555xxxxxxxxx@sip.anveo.com:5010 where xxxxxxxxx is your Anveo account number"

First off, I'd like to thank hwittenb and Diana  for the replies.

I feel stupid, I spent half a day staring at anveo's web site on how the call flow works, but I still haven't had a clue.

So can I have e911 and inbound sip uri to work without a call flow at all?

If I use 1555xxxxxxxxx@sip.anveo.com:5010 I don't need a call flow? And incoming calls will be totally free?

Now I am even confused about 911 calls, do I need a outbound call flow for that?

My hope is that I only have to get it to register on my obi and I'll be good to go. Is this wishful thinking?

Diana is correct about the simple inbound sip uri, I just tested it.  The simple sip uri works.  As Diana says, the magic key to getting the correct inbound sip uri is putting 1555 in front of your account number in the sip uri ("1555xxxxxxxxx@sip.anveo.com:5010 where xxxxxxxxx is your Anveo account number")

You don't need a call flow if all you want to do is call the phone registered to your Anveo account.

I don't have any experience with E911, however I don't think you need call flow for that.
