how do i enable file sharing?

when i go to the expert configuration and try to enable file sharing,
i cannot enable any of the users (clicking the check box does not check it) or enter password (cannot write anything into the text box).

how is this supposed to work?

I presume you have seen the Sharing Files on an Attached External USB Storage Device (OBi202 Only) section of http://www.obihai.com/OBiAdminGuide.htm


Are you doing your configuration with OBiTalk advanced expert mode? In that case, you have to clear two boxes for each setting you want to override.

what do you mean by clearing two boxes?
which boxes do i need to clear?

i've tried to clear e.g. the 'OBiTALK Settings' which are checked, but even that doesn't enable the checkbox for enabling the user or setting the password...

There is an OBiTalk box and and adjacent Device Default box for each item you will override in the Expert mode.
