delay latency and drop out during calls

   my Callcentric phone service is connected via an Obi 202 box with up to date firmware, but we when making calls we often experience latency (what I say gets to the other person a few seconds later- like on a satellite hookup) and every few minutes....say about 5 minutes into the call, one or the other of us just drops out for about 5 or 10 seconds, and then returns.

This is not occurring while I am using the streaming or downloading files. Just normal use.

Is there any suggestion for fixing for this? I am on AT&T Internet and have no problems with streaming netflix and other high volume data things.

FYI... AT&T U-Verse had MASSIVE problems this week and somewhat affected most AT&T internet customers.

More than likely, you're being affected by it if you're in one of the 13 states AT&T serves.
