The latest release of OBi 202/302 firmware 3.0.0(3722) includes several SIP-related configuration enhancements which are not available in the latest release of OBi 100/110 firmware 1.3.0(2774). In particular, this (from the release notes):
- Addition of X_UsePublicAddrressInVia option under ITSP Profile/SIP to control whether to replace private addr in VIA header with the public address (if configured or discovered by the OBi).
With the private address in the VIA header, even with proper STUN configuration
callwithus.com service (for example) will fall back to proxying RTP streams instead of sending them directly to the OBi.
SIP control options like this are exactly as useful on the 100/110 as they are on the 202/302. Insofar as possible, please maintain parity across firmware versions for options like these. If this somehow isn't possible or feasible, please add this VIA address configuration option to the 100/110.
