I have a working obi110 and bought an obi100 for another line which I will keep at another location.  I can't get my obi100 to make a call.  Echo test works.  Although the firmware page makes it look like it is only for obi110, I updated my obi100 to 1202 firmware. I first set it up using the one-page wizard for google voice, the same way I did for obi110.  I made a mistake in that BEFORE I set up the device, I did not make a gv call with my new account.  The gv acct is correctly set to fwd to gchat only.  I have since made that call and gv works properly, but obi100 doesn't.  I get the "we could not complete your call, please try again" message.  I reset to factory defaults and re-entered my info and tried it again; no success.

After my obitalk account was approved a few minutes ago, I used that to set up gv on the device.  Still no luck, same error message.  The difference now is that when I pick up the phone I get a stuttering dialtone for a few seconds before a solid one.  After I dial the number I am trying to call, it seems to hang a bit before I get a ring, and the first ring is interrupted by the error message.

I am sorry to ask for help in the forum, but I tried the support request page, and received the following:

If it is a female voice it is coming from Google. That means the Obi is placing the call.

The Obi is a male voice and would say "there is no service available" or "there is no route to complete the call".

You can look at your call history to see exactly what the Obi is doing with the call.
from the web portal      Status > Call History

Yes, the error message is a female voice.  I looked at Status > Call History and it seems like it is OK?  I X'd out my number.  Any idea what could be wrong with my Google Voice?

Terminal ID      PHONE1      GoogleVoice1
Peer Name
Peer Number   1XXXXXXXXXX   1XXXXXXXXXX
Direction      Outbound      Outbound
17:18:48      New Call
17:18:50      Call Connected
17:18:52      End Call

It's fixed.  In case this happens to anyone else, you are not just supposed to place a call using Google Voice.  You are supposed to place a call using GMAIL.  As soon as I did that, I was able to use the obi with google voice.

Obihai tech support emailed me a link to this pdf and referred me to page 6, "Troubleshooting OBi Device Set-Up for Google Voice" -- https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://www.obihai.com/docs/GoogleVoiceOBiTALK.pdf
