I setup an Obi202 for my home business couple weeks ago and so far loving it. I know I'm going to love it a whole lot more once I can port my numbers over and get both the big 2 out of my house. I do have one question concerning my FAX.
I currently have Line 1 setup as Home phone and have been making and recieving calls through
voip.ms, all is good.
My plan is to port my business number over to use Line 2 for business, pretty sure I can do this as easily as the home phone setup went. Now, am I correct in assumeing I can also port over my FAX number and send it to Line 2 with my business phone and my Obi202 will recognize it as data and send it to my FAX using a line splitter between the FAX and the business phone? or would it be better to purchase a Obi100 or110 and set it up as a dedicated FAX line?
My thinking is the latter is the better plan, any input or suggestions?
