OBI 202, no phone LED lit, cannot make calls

I just got a new device and trying to get it set up.  Connected to my router fine but the phone LED never came on.  The phone display shows "Check Tel Line" no dial tone.  I tried two different phones.

I connected into the OBI lan port and can bring up the setup wizard page.  The WAN status looks good but if I click on any of the phone status it shows connection reset no data.

I think the unit is defective, please advise.

I have a Obi 110 and it worked without a problem, never had this type of issue with setup.

The same phone with the same wire works with your other OBi?  If so, I would reset the OBi back to factory settings and try once more. If still no dial tone, your OBi202 is defective.

It worked fine on the 110, this one looks DOA.

I tried the reset and still no luck.  Does the light come on only when the phone is plugged in or are you supposed to get the phone led on all the time?

http://www.obihai.com/OBiAdminGuide.htm says the green phone light being off indicates that service is not available. This would light solid if there is no phone plugged in, or if a phone is plugged in but is on hook. http://www.obihai.com/docs-downloads.html

Do you get dialtone? can you make the test call? See http://www.obihai.com/support/troubleshooting/

I cant get a dial tone.

I'm going to take it over to a friends house and try it there, if I get the same problem its probably the unit.  He has one working there.

I have the same issue as Clark. Both the Power Light and Ethernet lights are solid Green, nothing else. I set up the Obi202 with GV prior in the states prior to moving to Japan and it worked fine. Now that I'm oversea's I cannot get a dial tone.

Please help!
