OBi Down Under: Australia OBi100 and OBi110 Config / Set-up

Australia OBi Device Configuration:
When using the OBi device in Australia, please configure the following parameters as described below:

OBi110 & OBi100:
Voice Services - SP1 Service - X_RingProfile: B
Voice Services - SP2 Service - X_RingProfile: B
Voice Services - OBiTALK Service - X_RingProfile: B
Physical Interfaces - Phone Port - Port settings:  Impedance: 220+(820||115 nF)
Physical Interfaces - Phone Port - Calling Features - ToneProfile: B

OBi110 Only:
Physical Interfaces - Line Port:
- RingProfile: B
- ToneProfile: B
Physical Interfaces - Line Port - PSTN Disconnect Detection – DisconnectTonePattern: 425-30;4;(.375+.375)
Physical Interfaces - Line Port - Port Settings:
- ACImpedance: 220+(820||120 nF) and 220+(820||115 nF)
- OnHookSpeed:  26 ms (Australia)
- TipRingVoltageAdjust: 3.2 V
- MinimumOperationalLoopCurrent: 14 mA
- DTMFPlaybackLevel: -10
Physical Interfaces - Line Port - Ring Detection:
- RingFrequencyMax: 70
- RingThreshold:  13.50 – 16.50
- RingValidationTime: 256


Note:  To make these changes, you will need to access the OBi unit's configuration using one of the following methods;

OBiTALK - OBi Expert Configuration (Recommended)
1. Log-in to www.obitalk.com
2. Select the OBi device to be configured.
3. Select OBi Expert Configuration and then Enter OBi Expert.
4. Use the left-side navigation menu to expose the configuration settings sections as described above.
5. Un-check both the OBiTALK Settings & Device Default boxes
6. Configure the parameter as described above.
7. *Important* Select Submit before you move to a new configuration section / page.

OBi Device Management Web UI
1. Access the OBi device management web UI buy pointing a browser at the OBi's IP address.
  - Dial ***1 from the attached phone. The IP Address will be read to you.
  - Enter the IP address in the web site address / navigation window & select enter.
  - When prompted, enter 'admin' for user name and 'admin' for password. Note: The password may have been previously changed.  If this is the case, use the current admin password.  You may need to log-in to OBiTALK to see the changed admin password.  But if you do this, you might as well use the recommended method: OBi Expert Configuration.  
2. Use the left-side navigation menu to expose the configuration settings sections as described above.
3. Configure the parameter as described above.
4. *Important* Select Submit before you move to a new configuration section / page.
