Incoming (CC, SP2) stopped. Outgoing (GV) worked. Verified DnD off.
Device's direct web page had triangle saying reboot required.
obitalk obi202 status said offline (but SP2 registered); yellow triangle mentioned a FW update. (but click it goes to forum post about FW update, that says to upgrade: click same yellow triangle... LOL)
Reboot from direct web page: now green status, incoming works.
Updated FW (via obitalk, but can't locate where now), verified all still works.
Noticed obitalk says FW-update disabled; direct device says periodic (daily).
What happened here? Auto FW update tried and failed; leaving a randomly broken result state: old FW, no incoming, status offline, device knows it needs a reboot?!
Chronic call issues I have:
1. Too many IMO missed calls logged by GV (never rings my phone). About 2 ring delay heard by caller. Seems too many calls for this to be just "impatient people" hanging up before (their) 3rd ring. Is it possible some missed calls are ringing a long time for some callers, just never ring my phone?
2. I have local answering machine. Messages record 2 seconds of dialtone at end. Didn't happen on landline, before obi. Are there settings tweakable for call-over detection? Could this be a CC issue, not obi?
Thanks for any inputs.
