cell phone still ringing

once in a while my cell phone continually rings when answering my home phone. i have obi100 with google voice. i'm new to this setup. sp2 is connected.

Your language "once in a while" is unclear.  If my cell is on calling my GV# rings both, picking up either phone stops the ringing on the other.

most of the time it will stop ringing, but other times i have to shut it off. would there be a setting i need to change?
