Loving the way Obi handles the first 2 Google Voice #s I set up using OBiTalk method. Everyone says calls are very clear. But, before I add my last GV#...

Would someone please verify or correct these Obi200 DigitMap changes to fork SP3, so that both the handset attached to Obi and my cell #123-456-7890 will ring:

(1.) Change from "OBiTalk" dashboard to "OBi Expert Configuration".
(2.) Choose "SP3 Service" under "Voice Services".
(3.) Change setting for X_InboundCallRoute from ph to {ph, SP3(1234567890)}

Are there any additional changes needed?
Thanks for the help.

Almost right - but not quite:

(1.) Change from "OBiTalk" dashboard to "OBi Expert Configuration".
(2.) Choose "SP3 Service" under "Voice Services".
(2a) Uncheck both boxes to the right of the value to be changed and leave them unchecked.
(3.) Change setting for X_InboundCallRoute from ph to {ph,SP3(1234567890)}
(3a) Press the "submit" button at the bottom of the page and wait a couple of minutes for your OBi to reboot.

Also I took out the space in {ph,SP3(1234567890)}. Sounds picky, but spaces can cause trouble.

Thanks Ian. Appreciate the detailed response. Will import 2nd cell number to GV, and set it up.

Are you including the sets of brackets in the string?

ianobi

The whole string is:

{ph,SP3(1234567890)}

Curly braces and plain parentheses are both needed.
