Happily using Obitalk
Thanks to this forum it's all set up perfectly
We just got a new phone, and it has a funny habit: when we have a missed call from our own province, it adds the 1 before our area code (250). Now when we call back, it uses Google and people are often puzzled if we are abroad.
Our LINE setup is as follows:
Quote([2-9]11S0|<250>[2-9]xxxxxx|250xxxxxxx|1800xxxxxxx|188xxxxxxxx|1877xxxxxxx|1866xxxxxxx|1855xxxxxxx|1844xxxxxxx|1833xxxxxxx|1822xxxxxxx|<**1>1[2-79]xxxxxxxxx|<**1>011xx.)
So I thought to be smart and just add the bold bit:
Quote([2-9]11S0|<250>[2-9]xxxxxx|250xxxxxxx|1250xxxxxxx|1800xxxxxxx|188xxxxxxxx|1877xxxxxxx|1866xxxxxxx|1855xxxxxxx|1844xxxxxxx|1833xxxxxxx|1822xxxxxxx|<**1>1[2-79]xxxxxxxxx|<**1>011xx.)
But now we get a message from the provider that the number cannot be dialled (we need to leave out the 1).
So, here is my question. Is it possible to dial back a number starting with 1250xxxxxxx using our landline, but call it without the 1 itself?
