OBi100, completely turn off IVR?

I have an Obi100 and an alarm system hooked up to the line. The alarm system
has an automation function when you hit "* * *". The same as the Obi100. I'd
rather configure my alarm system with the phone than the Obi100, so I'd like to
turn off the "* * *" feature of the Obi.

I was able to disable the IVR in the Obi100 under the "Device Management ->
Device Admin" menu. Even with the IVR disabled the Obi100 still listens for
and responds to "* * *" it just says "No service configured error. Please log
into obitalk.com..." instead of the normal, IVR-enabled message: "Device
configuration menu..."

The service is configured though (with Google Voice) and works fine with or
without the IVR enabled.

How do I get the Obi100 to stop intercepting the "* * *" code, so that code
can flow into my alarm system?
Is there a way to turn that off?
Is there a
way to turn the code to a different combination than "* * *"?

Thanks in advance!

Shredder – welcome to the forum.

Yes, the code can be changed to anything that does not conflict with any other code. This will allow you to keep the IVR enabled. Changes should be made where you see "***" in the following two places. I have changed it to "*#*" in this example:

Physical Interfaces > PHONE Port > DigitMap:
([1-9]x?*(Mpli)|[1-9]S9|[1-9][0-9]S9|911|**0|*#*|**1(Msp1)|**2(Msp2)|**9(Mpp)|(Mpli))

Physical Interfaces > PHONE Port > OutboundCallRoute:
{([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp},{**0:aa},{*#*:aa2},{(<**1:>(Msp1)):sp1},{(<**2:>(Msp2)):sp2},{(<**9:>(Mpp)):pp},{(Mpli):pli}

Wow ianobi, thanks so much for your reply!

My default settings looked a slightly different than yours. I still replaced the *** with *#* like you said in those two strings and it worked!

Thanks, so much! You've made my day!

Cheers.
