need help to configure GV to forward to new PhonePower number

Hi,

I just subscribe to PhonePower replacing GV .

My old Obihai-100 configuration:

SP1: GV
SP2: Call Centric for 911 .
Also configure to ring my cell phone for in-coming call to GV

New configuration:

SP1: PhonePower with new phone number
SP2: the same, no change ( I will cancel CallCentric later when I complete my set up with Phonepower.

Here is my problem:

Inbound call to GV number does not ring my home phone or my cell phone. It goes to the voice-mail only. Calling the new  PhonePower # work .

Outbound call show the GV number as I wanted.

What do I have to do to get my home phone and my cell phone ring when someone call my GV number

Problem solved:

I log into my GV account and forward to my new PhonePower number.

Was it just an oversight or did you think it would work without you doing that?  :)

I thought it would work without me doing that. PhonePower should add a "reminder" in the sign-up step to cover that.

I didn't expect you to admit to thinking that GV would somehow forward to a new number that it had no knowledge of. There is some clever technology around these days but AFAIK clairvoyance is yet to be conquered.  :)
