I don't know why more manufactures don't offer the feature to pair a bluetooth headset with a cordless phone handset as opposed to (rather uselessly) pairing with the base unit. Plenty of models have handsets that work with wired headsets, but only one works with bluetooth--the Siemens Gigaset SL785. Available on eBay for about $120. I have two extra sets as backups just in case my first set fails in time. Just an FYI for those that might be looking for something like this for work or home.
