If I wanted to take my Obi device (and phone) on a trip to bring my own home number with me to use at my destination what is the procedure to get the Obi working at the new location and new network?  Do I just plug it in and connect it to a power supply & the router at the new location or are there some additional steps that have to be taken to get the Obi functioning at the new location?

It may work if you just plug it in a router.

1) You must not have forced an IP address (if so, there is an option to turn DHCP back on)

2) Some routers may require a port forward which you may not have had to do at home

3) Some routers may require SIP ALG to be disabled

Thanks for the reply.  FWIMBW, I believe the router I'll be plugging into at the destination is an Apple Airport of some kind that is at least a few years old.  Not really familiar with them.
