This is actually not an OBi trick as it can be used on any phone number.

if this then that

This web app should accomplish a few feature requests that I have read on the forum. Imagine...
Timed alarm -> phone/SMS (audio with text to speech notification)
Gtalk ->phone/SMS
weather -> Gtalk chat (should show up on Obi attached phone screen)
phone -> Gmail (transcript and mp3 note to self)
Gmail -> Cell (Urgent messages notification on cell)

Many other use case scenarios, too many mention. Use your imagination to make a recipe. Tested on Canadian phone number.

I've been using IFTTT for quite a while and it is truly a great help.

Besides the wake-up calls it can do, for anyone concerned about not getting enough calls on an IPKALL number to keep it alive...just make a regularly scheduled call from IFTTT to it.

As QBZappy said already - it's name really says alot:
If This Then That.

It combines & connects normally disparate services & elements in wonderfully helpful ways.
