I've searched all over and can't find anyone talking about this...although it seems like it should be a common problem.

When I call out, the receiving phone displays either "Unknown" or "Private" for my caller ID. I would really like my phone number to show up, so that the people I'm calling don't ignore my calls.

Where is that controlled? In the Obihai device? At the service carrier?

My setup:
- Obihai 110
- Phone Power Obihai plan

Your service provider should allow you to set CallerID to any number you have under your control. Verification may be required.
Help me OBiHai PhoneOBi. You're my only hope.

Login to your Phonepower account and goto: Service Settings > Outbound CNAM
Set "Send CNAM on outbound calls:" to Yes, and then click/press Save Settings.
Your CID number is whatever you set it to at sign-up, or your actual number.

Well that was easy. Thanks!
